where do they go?

How did they die?

 

Do dreams remember

their dreamer?

Are dreams buried with

their dreamer?

 

Do dreams burn, simmer, sink,

float adrift in smoke,

swim in waves and play in clouds?

 

Are they carried away

on a bee’s wing,

a worm’s belly,

a rabbit’s nose?

 

Why wonder

Why wander

Why ask
